Susan Norris, PhD

Dr. Norris is passionate about behavioral health services and serving our most vulnerable populations. As Chief Executive Officer of Deer Oaks Behavioral Health, Dr. Norris brings a wealth of expertise as a clinician and a successful business leader. She has extensive experience in executive leadership roles for behavioral health organizations dating back to her 2004 role as President and later CEO of MHNet Behavioral Health, a national behavioral health organization (acquired by Coventry Health Care, now CVS Aetna). Dr. Norris’ other roles include Chief Clinical Officer and SVP of Growth and Development for similar organizations, all of which provided behavioral health assessments, care management, and utilization management for Medicare and Medicaid populations nationally. Dr. Norris holds a Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Development and a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
